With over a decade of experience in media, my work spans strategic communication consultancy, media interview training and storytelling

Communications and campaigns

For five years, I led Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ charity’s external media work and flagship campaigns like Rainbow Laces and Come Out For LGBT that created international conversations about queer rights. Prior to that, I worked at the award-winning agency W where I specialised in corporate communications and issues management.

Most recently, I spent a year freelancing for the NHS Race & Health Observatory on a research project about how the NHS can better communicate with and reach Jewish communities.

Media training

I have created and delivered media training sessions for over 60 organisations and individuals across the public, private and third sector including Liberty, Public Law Project, Momentum and the Town and Country Planning Association. I also work as a trainer for the New Economy Organisers Network and Media Trust.

Trainings cover everything you need to know about print and broadcast interviews and can be scaled according to skill from an introductory level all the way to hostile and crisis level for both individuals and groups.

Storytelling and facilitation

I have worked with national sporting bodies and third sector organisations to equip them with the skills and knowledge on how to tell their story in the media to change hearts and minds.

The above picture is from a full-day storytelling session I ran with my friend and colleague Suyin Haynes for the England and Wales Cricket Board’s national women’s team.

Speaking and events

I have spoken, moderated and hosted public events in the UK and internationally organised by a wide variety of organisations including OKRE, The Guardian, The Playground Theatre and InterComms.
