Jeffrey Ingold is an LGBTQ+ inclusion consultant, media trainer and freelance journalist
I am a strategic media and communications expert with over a decade’s experience spanning private, public and third sector work. I have delivered storytelling workshops for national sporting teams, broadcast media training for purpose-driven organisations and crisis communications simulations for multiple not-for-profit groups.
From 2018 to 2022, I worked at Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ charity as the Head of Media. I am a freelance LGBTQ+ media consultant working with leading entertainment & publishing companies to better understand and represent queer stories in award-winning shows like Baby Reindeer and Heartstopper.
I am also a freelance writer covering stories at the intersection of LGBTQ+ equality, politics, media and culture. My work has been published in The Guardian, Metro, i, VICE and DAZED.
I was born & raised in Toronto and have called London my home since 2014. In my spare time, I am the UK’s chief commentator on Mariah Carey with broadcast appearances on the BBC, CNN and Channel 5, along with articles about her in The Guardian, VICE and i-D.
